Leadership Innovation & Service Learning
The third year of the Student Growth Program will aim for Leadership Innovation & Service Learning among students.
There are three main areas of focus:
1) synthesis of information from the first two years
2) More life application stories
3) More open sharing time and conversation between the students and the
facilitators.
The year will end with helping students develop their own service learning project to implement in one of their contexts. Students will have adequate support for this project, including the development of ideas, ways to implement the ideas, and ways to effectively evaluate long-term sustainability of the project.
Particular focus will be given to “Leadership Innovation” & “Service Learning” as students are inspired to think critically about how they can positively impact the societies around them.
