Leadership Lessons to Notice

When leaders value the quality of relationships with people, it makes the contrast between “fixed” and “growth” mindsets easy to notice.

A problem with “fixed” mindsets is often an issue of care. Issues of care are often related to issues of EQ.

Usually, the coping strategy is to rely on IQ. An over reliance on IQ can blind a leader to their own needs.

Leaders who fail to see this need help from the people who “work” for them so they can recognize their blind spots.

There will always be so much for everyone to learn from one another.

When the well-being of the leaders becomes a priority, those they serve (and those they also serve) will experience the improvements of systemic well-being.

Congrats to those systems, communities, and institutions that have leaders who notice this already. A micromanaged, fixed approach is a clear sign that they don’t yet notice it.
